Operating Systems Windows and Linux

The tt7000-series runs on different operating systems.
The standard operating system is Windows CE.NET 4.2® . This operating system allows the simple and future-oriented integration of various software applications. Optimal support for WLAN, Bluetooth, or GPRS are guaranteed.

Alternatively, the tt7000 series also runs on the Linux operating system Qtopia®.

Functionality and data transfer

With the tt7000-series, t+t-netcom introduces to the market a product with a maximum response to customer demands and wishes.
All integrated features have been developed and integrated by many years of experience and many customer discussions.
An optimum cost/performance ratio, multi-functionality, such as concurrent use of GPRS and WLAN, as well as integration of barcode scanners and transponder readers in one housing, were the absolute requirements during the design of the tt7000-series.

In the Communicator Edition, the device additionally has a full-fledged phone function, which, aside from data transfer, allows to call without additional accessories.

Perfect ergonomics and easy handling

The non-reflective color display is clearly legible even in direct sunlight.
The lateral ribbed structure guarantees non-slip handling of the device. Raised center ridges prevent the accidental operation of key buttons.
The slanted key buttons in the lower row prevent malfunction and early wear-and-tear when the device is pushed in a pocket frequently. 4 standard function keys are freely programmable and offer easy operating for any application.

Maximum number of interfaces

The tt7000 has 3 freely programmable serial interfaces, one CF and SD slot, and Bluetooth, IrDA and USB connections. This allows easy connections to printers, GPS receivers, or other peripherals, in addition to integrated scanners or transponder readers.

Upgrade and hardware add-ons

Using the backpack solution, the tt7000-series offers a huge number of expansion
modules. The soft pack technology accepts almost any board (as long as it doesn't’t exceed the housing dimensions). For example, transponder readers on all variations can be integrated in
addition to barcode scanners.
